Are English firemen so physically compromised that they are likely to fall over and lose conciousness if the water is above their ankles? As for "The guy was undoubtedly already dead"? It is hardly surprising since they did fuck-all to save him in the critical moments after they arrived on site.

For the record, I know two guys who administered CPR for half an hour till the medics arrived. I know another woman who re-started a man's heart. Both those men were clincally dead gut were recussitated. If they had depended on English firemen they would have been left for dead.
