but how do I subscribe to a thread?

Usually when you post a reply to a thread, you are automatically subscribed. You can manually sub/unsub by clicking the "thread tools" button at the top of the page.

There are some settings for this in your User CP

Check out the text right above the first post at the top of the page. There should be something that says "Thread Tools." It's a pull down menu. Just click on it and you'll be given the option to subscribe. Hope that helps!

You know, I think a lot of the people on Lit are much nicer than a lot of the people you meet - out there - in RL land.

I think you have to select auto in order for that to work. I would have 3 pages worth of subscriptions if I was on auto!:eek:

apology accepted LMAO , you didnt do (or not do) anything. Just been busy and you always catch me mobile. I'm more chatty when I'm on the pc and not having to type on the phone.

I'm on auto subscribe :) LOVE IT. I dont have that many but I typically unsubscribe when I get bored

Could be, I don't remember changing any settings, but a lot of the forums I use that have the same software have subscriptions on by default, so I just got it wrong about Lit.

You may be a huge tease :), but I'd never call you that other word (I just personally find it distasteful to use myself)
