worth repeating?

The worst is attempting to repeat a good experience only to end up disappointed. Like biting into that first, sweetest strawberry and stalking the produce section for its twin for the rest of the summer with nothing to show for it.

Would you take the opportunity to relive all of your best experiences if you agreed never to have any new ones? Don't know if I would. The thrill of discovery and all that.

"In vino veritas."

"Age quod agis."

"Credat Judaeus Apella, non ego."

"Eventus stultorum magister."

"In pace requiescat."

"Come on boys. We don't want any trouble in here. Not in any language."

"That's Latin, doll. Evidently Mr. Ringo's an educated man. Now I really hate him."

"Doc... you've been hittin' it kinda hard, aintcha?"

"Nonsense. I have not yet begun to defile myself."

Fucking my ex- not even joking- every single time was mind-blowing. Every. Single. Time.

Worth repeating.

i can think of a whole heap of future fun i want to try with a certain someone.

i can also think how nice it would be to keep going to the zoo with a five year old girl forever... but i might only feel that way because we both have pms this week.

Worth repeating...my first hike, my first time in a kayak, my first time whitewater rafting, the first time I swam in any of my favorite swimming holes...anything having to do with nature and my body.

Why you doin' this, Doc?

Because Wyatt Earp is my friend.

Friend? Hell, I got lots of friends.

...I don't.

That one always makes me a little teary-eyed. Sincerely.

"Why Ike, whatever do you mean? Maybe poker's just not your game. I know! Let's have a spelling contest!"

crap: sex with an ex

nice but not worth repeating: sex with a friend

wonderfully, addictively worth repeating: sex with the guy i love

I didn't know what hiking was until I was 18 and I moved to a city. Some friends asked if I wanted to go hiking, and they had an oz of weed, so I said "yes" because I'd[strikethru] always wanted to know what it was [/strikethru] wanted to smoke their weed. When we got to the outcropping where we were going to smoke and layed around, like you do, on the rocks, I asked when we were going hiking. They said we had hiked up there. I was like, "We walked up here."

The conclusion we came to was that where I'm from, we call hiking walking.

"Why, Ed Bailey... are we cross? ... You know, Ed, if I thought you weren't my friend, I just don't think I could bear it."

That's actually been my experience, too. I say my first hike, because I went with people with big day packs and energy bars and hiking boots and whatnot. They said it was a hike, so I just nodded and smiled. I was wearing flip flops, btw.

Tombstone is officially the most wonderfully quotable movie ever. :)
