I have recently been made aware that I don't have a juicer. I thought a food processor would work, but it doesn't.

So reading reviews on the interwebs, the different models are all over the place. Some love this model, some love that one.

Do you GB'ers have an opinion on juicers?

That wackadoodle from down under got me thinking about Kale this morning. Which got me thinking about Kale juice. Which led to this:

MINTY GREEN GRAPEFRUIT
Kale is packing a nutrient dense punch with vitamin A, folate , vitamin C, vitamin K, calcium & more. Besides being loaded with vitamin C, grapefruit is useful in suppressing appetite and can aid in the breakdown of fats in the body, making it a great fruit for those trying to lose weight. Grapefruits can also strengthen the respiratory system and aid in respiration. Mint is a known remedy for digestive problems and stomach cramps & it’s a natural breath freshener. Grapefruit & mint cleanses the digestive and urinary systems, are natural diuretics and have been used to relieve IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and colitis.

6 - 8 large kale leaves
1 large pink grapefruit, peeled
Handful fresh mint leaves

Run ingredients through a juicer and enjoy

I can't stand grapefruit, plus I'm on a prescription which doesn't allow me to have it anyway.

My Dad loved gin and grapefruit juice. Shit is just vile.

These are perfect for citrus fruits, obviously. Anything else...not so much.
