It isn't a Chow Chow. I know Chows. I believe it's a Shiba Inu. A Japanese dog breed similar to an Akita.

Pomeranians are awesome dogs. Chows are not for the most part. I agree, it is a Pom. I am not a small dog fan but the Pom we had was an amazing dog, sweet, loyal and full of personality. He played with our Landseer Newfoundland like they were the same size.
