I had a dear friend who went to that church, and he was brainwashed to the point where he said that communicating with me would go against the wishes of the church.

It tore my heart that I was losing a friend, but it tore my heart even more that someone I call a friend wouldn't see just how much he was being manipulated.

They absolutely fucking sicken me to no end. Call me anti-Christian, call me what you will, what these people are doing is against what I would interpret faith to be, and what God or Jesus, whether or not you believe in them, would be against as well.

Hell, according to a conversation I had with my Dad's sister when my Dad was dying of Lou Gehrig's, she hoped that he wouldn't burn in hell. Since we were at a family function, I kept my cool, though I wanted to snap. She said she made him go to a Billy Graham sermon when he was 19, and she said that he replied that yes, he accepted Christ. She said he should still be safe because of that.

It sickens me. Really does.

I'm sure Johnny would say the microwaveable egg contraptions work, but in my experience, microwaving eggs is a bad idea.

My neighbor has an Egg Genie egg, the one that steams the eggs, and it seems to work just fine.

I have something like that. You add some water and drop the egg in, and it cooks the egg however you like, everything from soft- to hard-boiled. It's super easy to use, too.

I forget what it's called, but I'll see if I can find a picture of one.

Bunny, as a guy who fends a lot for himself, I boil a lot of eggs. I've never heard of a steamed egg, but I'm going to give it a shot.............:)

The theory of those egg cookers is solid - eggs love to be steamed.

Unrelated, but directed at Johnny ... It's when you add the microwave into the equation that things go dire. Eggs are to the microwave what Grace is to the NAACP.

I really hate all of you for this egg talk.

Ever since my Gall Bladder removal surgery in 2000, I can't touch an egg, nor eat anything where eggs are a major ingredient.

I miss them SO SO SO much that it pains me.

It's true. I mean, every egg averages out to cost $3 after you account for the fancy cookware, but my eggs really are the fucking best in all of the land.
