It has to happen organically. The drama threshold was raised too high during January and February because of the one-two punch of Karen Kraft n' Grace...and now expectations are so high, the next GB antagonist will be manufactured and forced for the entertainment quota, much like how that horribly unfunny Caveman sitcom was greenlit due the hipster popularity of the Geico ads.

What is this racist thing about? Is everyone calling her a racist because of that Michelle Obama comment? Just the one comment? For the record, if we're going to be all serious and shit, The closest I ever came to anything like cybering with Grace was a discussion of what we both like sexually and a few pictures back and forth. I never skyped with her or IMed with her. I've emailed and PMed a fair amount.

I stopped somewhere halfway through (truly), but to answer your opening question, no: the joke was vile, but the follow-up explanations were the real issue. Variations of, "I'm not a racist, I just feel the way I do because blacks are entitled, arrogant, lazy pieces of shit." (That's a paraphrase, but not an exaggeration.)
