And they'll never, ever figure out the self-contradiction in their belief system.

According to them they want to run for it so they can get into office and shrink it. Except they never do.

Romney will be different. Yeah, last time he was in office he issued a mandatory healthcare mandate very similar to Obama's. But THIS time it's against his lifelong philosophy.

Newt says he's an "outsider". The former Speaker of the House-turned-congressional-lobbyist is an outsider now. He's a fresh face! No government experience.

Santorum markets himself as a fresh face in Washington after 12 years in the Senate. Of course the only reason he's not still in the Senate is because Pennsylvania showed him the door by 18 points in his last election.

And THAT will catch up with him, big time.

Let's hope he stays outside.

Santorum got his ass kicked in brutal fashion by a pro-life Democrat.

That had to sting.

No contradictions; if you want to pare down government, then first you have to control it, and maintain control of it, to the exclusion of others who want to expand government or leave it like it is now.

Most elected Republicans fall in the last category, of course, including those whose rhetoric is for paring. And so do most Democrats, including those whose rhetoric is for expansion.

Mitt Romney doubles down on letting Detroit go bankrupt

You absolutely wont believe the ridiculous op-ed Mitt Romney wrote in today's Detroit News, where he not only calls himself a "Detroiter" but simultaneously says Detroit should have gone bankrupt and that President Obama followed his recommendations at the same time.

'shakes head and walks away.'
