I wasn't aware that tinners installed pan decking. Or even worked outside.

A practiced eye will note two different sizes of wrench. The fucking engineer spec'd two different bolt sizes.

Sometimes you need to stand on one while using the other one, or use both of them to play catch-up prying a stubborn piece.

Always sucks when you drop something...lucky nobody was killed but it doesn't look to have dropped too far.

Pretty standard. 3/4 and 7/8 or 1" connections. We always jump to 1" for a decent size beam.

Is this where I come to discuss rebar and how much I hate Gr 60 nonweldable?

we don't even buy nonweldable any more...too many schools and nursing homes are done with block now and we have to weld it to all the beams

MNDOT specs still call for nonweld unless I have to use coated, which are for bridges. Wisconsin uses black bar which is also a pain.

I used some #4 rebar to hold down the landscaping timbers around my flower beds

I welded a statue with my youngest using excess #7 bar. It was fun, mainly because he can brag to his friends that he and his mom welded this cool thing.

We use metric bar now...no more #....its 10M, 15M, 20M.....etc

Funny thing about being in to piercings my whole life, metric and gauges are easy to pick up.
