If that was their strategy, they'll be wise to follow the Padres' lead and build middling relievers into stellar closers to peddle to the rest of the MLB for loads of prospects.

But clearly they're not that smart. I thought the Japanese were smart.

They still let Howard Lincoln & Chuck Armstrong run the show, and that's the problem.

From every reliable source I have read (I have a close friend who runs one of the magazines, as well as few that write for local papers), the owner (whose name escapes me at the moment, former president of Nintendo, anyhoo), basically bankrolls it, and that's that.

He puts absolutely zero say in it, minus his influence on getting Ichiro! to come.

If Rob is banned I expected a lot more hollering and fist-bumping from the usual suspects, that said the name calling so far is thoroughly juvenile but par for the course for those concerned.

If I can be said to have proved anything at all, which I do not contend, then it's that a large majority of posters here believe the posting of personal information is not okay. You probably would have been among them, but you argued that since it was miles, who claims to have once shopped at a Marine px, he could therefore do no wrong, just like Lee Harvey Oswald.
