Is Valentine's Day pressure to:

1) Those girls who don't get flowers at work places;

2) Those single people who sleep alone tonight;

3) Those single people who live with parents have to go back to home for dinner tonight;

...

Isn't the "Thirty" character supposed to be from China?

It may be time for a spreadsheet.

I'm sure it is. But that's probably just as true about every other holiday. I'm sure there are some people in New Orleans who are like "Mardi Gras again? That means I have to buy the cookies and set up the Mardi Gras bush"

Note: I have no idea what people do for Mardi Gras.

Not anymore! :cool:

Voice of China

Yes, it is huge pressure to the sellers and speculators who have hoarded a large number of roses for a big profit.
Some practical people rather fuck in a cheap way than buy a bunch of flowers.

What I say is about my country China, USA might be another story.
But all celebration is not celebration without fucking in the end, that is Lovers' Day, or Day of Prostitute Consumption.

Wow, I always assume that I'm the only Chinese here on Lit.

Hi, buddy, how can it be possible you are the only Chinese around here?!

This is so international, and it is easy for you to make friends from all over the world and learn some English, better than in classroom.

When Knicks can have Linsanity, we could have Litsanity,hohoho!

You are right, glad to know someone here from my home country.
I mean i've been here for 8 years more or less, but I've never met a Chinese here.

By the way, basketball is not my cup of tea...Lin is not Chinese at all, he is a pure American, just looks like Chinese.

Valentine's Day is nothing more than a commercialized day

and that isnt said with bitterness, but just my opinion. so many people only get their loved one something that day instead of doing it on a random tuesday just because.

Whatever.
I am now right here in Nanning.
But I did visit America a few years back, and found it was not as good as China. For example, the DVD is not so desired or outdated. One friend said he would take me to a movie theatre to see Mission Impossible, but I told him we had seen it long time ago, via pirated DVD, of course, sorry.
I wonder when I can visit that country again.
