The Republicans have fired up the Fear Factory again. It's an election year, and beating Barack Obama appears to be a lot less likely than they hoped.

Nothing gets the wingnuts motivated like fear, the whole idea of homosexuals being allowed to marry like regular folk was enough to get the bigots out of their houses in droves to get Boy George a second term in 2004. It was a narrow victory, and nothing will be left to chance again.

Obama might be the most lied about political figure in history. How a Kenyan born muslim socialist time-traveling America hating terrorist got elected president of the US is quite amazing, and a segment of the population is pretty sure that if it happens again, all hell is going to break loose and the Baby Jesus will cry.

The gun nuts are back. The preposterous idea that Americans will be forced to hand over their arms to the government never goes away for the NRA crybabies. Even though Obama has does nothing to indicate he is harboring any anti-gun policies, it's very clear that fear of losing your toys is a strong persuader.
