Hey! You cold hearted fuckers.....

Or why not just keep politics out of a thread that says far more about the generosity of the human spirit than anything political?

I like being reminded that yes there are people in this world that will do for others before themselves because it does still exist. Do you enjoy being miserable and finding a grey cloud in every silver lining?

I am perfectly happy and content, having made all of my own silver linings in life. Do you enjoy being presumptuous?

It has been my experience that happy and content people don't go around looking for the bad in things or people. Only the sad and miserable normally do that. Hence the phrase misery loves company. If one is happy and content they gravitate towards the good in life and are often sharing their happiness not the other way around.

It's people like you that spoil everything. Enjoy your silver linings while you can, in the end you'll find yourself alone and your lining tarnished.

Thank you to all who enjoyed this pleasant, harmless, positive little film. :rose:

Cool vid, it actually show we don't need the lib agenda.

Look Dummy, I can go slower for ya if I need to. I didn't say how life should be. I said what I have experienced is that people that are generally happy don't go looking for the down side of a given situation and that folks that are miserable usually see the grey cloud and not the silver lining. My personal observations. Why not go ask Karen what she thinks about the video? Maybe if you ask her nicely she will do another video too.

it's a nice film. i wish the solicitation for donations would have been on behalf of the homeless rather than herself (or at least, to even include them in that request would have been nice) but it was quite touching.

I've never spoiled a single thing in your life, you make of it what you can. I've had a good ride and I've done it all myself. The only thing that will spoil any of my silver linings will devastate yours as well, and in the end, what does it matter?

You and I are worlds apart - thanks be to the gods. I won't be surprised if the "lining" turns out to tin foil, after all it keeps of the stinky smells in.

My experience is, those who like proselytize about how life should be haven't lived long enough to know, and have a fairly dysfunctional lifestyle of their own.

Judgemental much? You really should be pitied more than anything.

Eyes closed, head buried deep between his own buttocks.....don't waste your time trying to reason, he has blinkers on.

It's always cute to watch a main character in fictional film utilize no means for his own elementary needs...

...but still living each day only caring about others.

See, the only way that works in real life is if the main character actually isn't as destitute as he is portrayed to be...

...but then the fallacy of him portraying himself as destitute is exposed, and the hollow presentation of absolute altruism begins naturally to leak out its utopian air.

The producer of the fictional film proves this herself by holding-out her begging change cup to fund her own need for outside means to continue producing such fantasy...

...for as natural reality dictates, she cannot last any longer doing so than her portrayed homeless man can by only serving the needs of others.
