For the late-night crew

Guess I'm just a creature of habit and refresh the 1st page of threads and skip over many others. Hence my going back a few pages and always bumping stuff.

This is just one of those old threads that fits like a nice worn flannel shirt.

Ice on a mountain lake makes travel a lot easier and faster.

The blades are cool. They fit xc ski boots.

Oh, that's excellent.

I remember a decade or two ago someone came out with a package intended for adventure racing that was boots with skis, snowshoes, crampons that all fit them. The crampons were made to work with the snowshoes. It made a lot of sense to me. I see no reason why you couldn't add skates to that.
