Interesting, I am similar. Not so much I have to see their face if it was a random encounter, but if I sense mutual feelings developing that are... slightly beyond casual... I think it is stupid to discover something later that could be awkward. If you start on "let's leave faces as our fantasy images".. one needs to stick to that.
