I respond to all PM's even if not interested.

I think it's a common gesture of courtesy to acknowledge someone who's trying to start a conversation with you.

Even if you just say 'not interested', it's more polite then ignoring someone.

My policy on this has always been that you're really only obligated to respond to a PM that asks you a direct question, and that's more a social obligation than anything else. Is someone required to respond to a PM that goes "Uhhhh, yoor cute" with no other content behind it? Not really, and I don't think it's logical to treat every single PM as an attempt to start a conversation.

You have to keep in mind that women here, especially single women, especially single women who have posted pics, are often swamped with PMs, and a lot of them come from complete strangers (even PMs from those who don't have any forum posts, and likely registered just so they can click on pics). Expecting them to take giant chunks out of their day to write return letters to mouthbreathing masturbating basement-dwellers is a bit much.
