'I'm very alive': Army veteran declared dead 4 times

Yeah. I seen that on the news last night. It was weird.

The VA is telling this guy "We said you were dead 4 times already! Now send us back $94,000 dollars and we will look into it."

I took a friend to the Kaiser hospital the other day for some eye surgery. I was both surprised and pleased to see the surgeon come in and actually sign his name above the eye to be operated on.

lol Most surgeons/hospitals require that now. When I had shoulder surgery they kept asking which one was getting operated on. I finally said, if you don't know I'm leaving!

Knowing what part of your body to operate on is a very, very important step of any successful surgery. One slip, and you could end up like Army Sergeant Jerry Miller.

Plus it cuts down on the lawsuits. :D

If we truly wanted to cut down on the epidemic of stupid medical errors, start filing CRIMINAL charges against them when they fuck up.

What drives me crazy is that 99% of people will say something retarded like "doctors are only human, they can make mistakes too" but freak out on the uneducated $9/hr employee at McDonalds when they forget their fries.

If the Doctors would police their own and get rid of the bad ones it would help.

Fries are important to doctors with a potato addiction.
