I see the Communists have a new label: "critics of capitalism." The new name for the same old failed tyranny, changed more often than Prince's, seems to have been selected by the news media to soften the stigma associated with these strangely passionate losers. If the story below had read "Communists meet in Brazil to plot takeover of West" it would be just another tinfoil hat story about a bunch of discredited kooks. But re-package it with new labels and hint at commonality with the Occutards, and you might get people to read it.

They do use words like "Social," "social justice," and "environmental justice" (whatever that is), and "people's summit." But they've downsized the 99 percenters to a mere 98%. Maybe our side is making progress. One percent in a few months, we'll have these morons licked in a few years.

We also have the religious supremacists calling themselves, "Social Conservatives".

Euphemism has ever been a favoured tool of politicians.

Ethnic Cleansing? Is that group bathing?

Enemy of Freedom? Well, we must kill those.

Labels mean nuthin to me; lemme see how you care for your hosses.

It is popular today to blame capitalism for everything that displeases. Indeed, who is still aware of what he would have to forego if there were no "capitalism?" When great dreams do not come true, capitalism is charged immediately. This may be a proper procedure for party politics, but in Scientific discussion, it should be avoided.
Ludwig von Mises
A Critique of Interventionalism (1929)

No axe here, merely a statement about the use of euphemism in rhetoric. It is one of the most common and most annoying of schemes.

Or, one can be critic of what people incorrectly call capitalism here and there in the world today.

Oh well. Don't worry conservatives. We'll probably fail to make your lives better.

It took you until 2012 to figure out that Communists are critics of capitalism, eh? Why is it that fourth-grade dropouts are always Republicans?

Commies fail at everything else, why not that?

... says the man who lives in a house full of commie-made goods, typing on his commie-made computer, sitting in his commie-made clothing.
