Based on readings from more than 30,000 measuring stations, the data was issued last week without fanfare by the Met Office and the University of East Anglia Climatic Research Unit. It confirms that the rising trend in world temperatures ended in 1997.

Meanwhile, leading climate scientists yesterday told The Mail on Sunday that, after emitting unusually high levels of energy throughout the 20th Century, the sun is now heading towards a ‘grand minimum’ in its output, threatening cold summers, bitter winters and a shortening of the season available for growing food.

Who is going to deny Science now?

;) ;) I could name names...

NIGGER WHORE already carpet bombed it

FACTS must not get in teh way of ESTABLISHED SY'S ANTS!

We need that Keystone pipeline to hook up with the section built in KANSAS!

Caribou Moose might freeze.

Now we know why Sarah purchased a house in Arizona...

No tears about the money wasted on such research?

Do you hate Science now?

I've been saying it was sun cycles since 2000.

I also discussed the models they were using and the flawed assumptions.

But some people here had a religious devotion to the earth and willingly followed the prophets of doom...

And as evidence piled up, the scripture they liked to quote the most was, "Even if it's not true, going green is still a good thing!"

Throwing money away on science. Throwing it away on education. Throwing it away on feeding Grandma and stuff.

Print and spend. Print and spend.

What is wrong with you fuckers?

I was the real Scientist all along.

What we got here today is the problem of the governmental funding of directed Science for political power.

You were not then and are not now, cogent...

NASA was looking outside of our atmosphere and other scientists were looking inside. Observations were collected and theories were made. Some were kept, some were tossed out.

Works like a dream.

I got ten bucks that says we are not done yet, no matter what your Daily Mail story says about it.

Care to tell me where the funding for the Met Office and the UEA comes from?

And if I were you, I'd wait until I saw the actual results. The Daily Mail isn't exactly famous for truthiness.

That's your response to everything. Attack that which you cannot defend.

That's because you hate Science and favor Superstition.

Should we stop looking at this? It is the sun. It is the carbon. It is the magnetic poles.

We cannot change much with the sun. I doubt we can change much about the earth's magnetic field. But we can change how much shit we dump in our air.

No matter if the carbon is a big or small piece of the global temperature change, I still think we should be cautious about our air.

Did I say that?

Did I ever say that?

Do you take me for the kind of guy who would ever say that?

What I would say is this: stop taking money out of the economy and throwing it at your political allies...

Find a topic that is NOT political to research. Find research in which the results are not twisted into one political side or the other.

I had dinner last night with a couple that thinks we did not go to the moon. It was a scam! This time the political party was the devil, not the wingnuts or hippies.

Research takes money. Yeah, that sucks. Without it we are forever trapped on a flat earth.
