This may not seem like a big deal to everyone else, but for me here, it's HUGE!
It hasn't rained for weeks and everything has been dying. My beautiful lawn is currently a sickly shade of pale brown, and my vege garden (despite being hand-watered) has wilted.
Because we're on rain/tank water here, I usually start to worry when there's only a third or so left... yesterday, I measured and found we only had a fifth of a tank remaining
And because we're on tank water, I've been lugging watering cans up the hill from the almost-empty dam to water the vege patch.

It's raining! After nearly 4 weeks of mid-30's temps!
Lovely, lovely rain

You should install a grey-water system to keep those plants happy. It's relatively inexpensive, though installation will require a lot of manual labour, i.e., digging of trenches.

We have one.
But because we've been on water-saving mode for a couple of weeks, there's not enough left in there to water all the garden.

I can actually hear my plants sucking in the moisture :D
The local birds are all going mental!

Yay rain!

Exactly! Yay rain!
So much so, I went out at 6am this morning and stripped off in the middle of the paddock and let it soak me too
This has been the longest without rain in my area for 15 yrs!

Joyful news, WQ!

Hopefully you were dancing in it before posting about in here. :)

Ohhh, so you were. Hahaaaaa, I constructed this before even refreshing. My bad, your good.
