New ENEMY of the state....Hockey goalie Tim Thomas

From reading his statement explaining exactly why he chose not to attend, he sounds like a Ron Paul supporter...

...which surely makes him just as big of an ENEMY to the sell-out Reps as he obviously is to the Dems, and to the United Socialist State of America.

Portraits in Countermoonbattery: Tim Thomas

Bowing to Jesus has earned Tim Tebow derisive contempt from the liberal establishment. Conversely, star goalie Tim Thomas of the champion Boston Bruins has earned the same — by refusing to bow to the Moonbat Messiah:

Boston Bruins goalie Tim Thomas says he didn’t attend the White House ceremony with President Barack Obama honoring the team for its 2011 Stanley Cup Championship because he believes the federal government “has grown out of control” and threatens rights and liberties.

Thomas said on his Facebook page Monday night he was exercising his rights. He said it wasn’t “about politics or party,” and he blames both political parties.

Like many others not pleased with either party lately, Thomas is of the countermoonbat persuasion — much to the dismay of liberal establishment sportsyappers like Joe Haggerty.

After denouncing Thomas as “pretty radical” for not buying into the global warming hoax, he opines:

Thomas has always seemed to lean very far to the right perhaps reaching all the way over to radical tea party range with his personal politics, and there’s no doubting it played into his decision. …

“I believe the Federal government has grown out of control, threatening the Rights, Liberties, and Property of the People,” said Thomas in a statement. “This is being done at the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial level. This is in direct opposition to the Constitution and the Founding Fathers vision for the Federal government.”

The funny thing is that the Hollywood-actress thin statement brought very little to the table beyond tea party rhetoric.

Thomas is accused of not participating in Obama’s photo op because he is not a team player.

Thomas was playing for himself first and the team second. He’s obviously captured a Stanley Cup with that mentality, but it seemed to again be the case on Monday at the White House.

Forget your convictions and do what your rulers tell you is best for the herd. This is liberalism in a nutshell.

Other sportslibs were less sophisticated in their attacks. Here’s what TSN’s Dave Hodge had to tweet:

Apparently Hodge is suggesting that since Thomas wouldn’t kiss Obama’s ring, he must be a secret member of the KKK.

There is no haven from moonbattery, not even in sports. That’s why we have to fight it.

Bruins Goalie Who Snubbed White House Invite Hits Obama Again, Says He “Supports Catholics Fight For Religious Freedom,” Quotes Nazi-Era “First They Came” Poem…

This should rile up the local libs.

(Politico) — Boston Bruins goalie Tim Thomas may be taking a liking to this whole politics thing.

The Stanley Cup MVP, who snubbed President Obama last month and said it had “nothing to do with politics or party,” took to his Facebook page today to weigh in on the president’s decision to require employers, including religiously affiliated ones, to purchase insurance that covers birth control.

“I stand with Catholics in the fight for Religious Freedom,” he wrote. Thomas then went on to quote the famous poem, “First they came…” about the failure to speak up during the rise of Nazi Germany.

Thomas’s decision not to visit the White House with the rest of his team made big headlines. At the time, he said he chose not to go because he believes “the Federal government has grown out of control, threatening the Rights, Liberty, and Property of the People…This was not about politics or party, as in my opinion both parties are responsible for the situation we are in as a country.”

Here’s what he wrote on Facebook:

“I Stand with the Catholics in the fight for Religious Freedom,” Thomas wrote, followed by a quote from Martin Niemoller.

“In Germany they came first for the Communists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist,” Niemoller’s quote begins. “Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up.”

Obama is not the Christian he professess to be. Like Satan, his tongue is forked and full of deception.

He should not be the President of this great Republic.:rose:
