What's. Your fave and how do you like them prepared?

I bought some sugar snap peas at Sprouts yesterday...like them raw. actually I like most of them raw. Or maybe I'm just too lazy to cook.

fresh and raw, steamed, roast, stir-fried...

fresh peas are delicious, all salad veggies, cauliflower, broccoli, brussell sprouts (esp raw), mushrooms, bean sprouts

most fruits raw though some i love cooked in pies/crumbles

i like butternut or acorn squashes a bunch. celery and garlic too. fruits i'd have to go with red delicious apples or those mini oranges you get around xmas.

Asparagus; grilled with olive oil and garlic.

Plus it makes my pee smell funny, so there is always that.......

Broccoli, asparagus, carrots....favorite is probably seasoned and drizzled in olive oil, then roasted

Sweet potatoes made into fries, broiled and sprinkled with cinnamon and nutmeg

Zucchini/yellow squash chopped and sauteed with butter and onion and garlic

Apples, pineapple, strawberries....love apples any which way, pineapple and strawberries raw

It's easier to say which are not faves. I've never been a fan of beets. To be fair I've only had them canned or pickled, so I decided last week to try them fresh. I roasted them in the oven with olive oil and sea salt.

Still, meh... Just edible but I probably wont buy them again. Not worth the sugar/carbs when I could enjoy other veggies for less.

Also, aside from fresh spinach, greens of any kind (collard/turnips).

I don't think there's a fruit I don't like although I'd have to say my current favorite is blueberries and figs are not at the top of the list...

Easier for me to list the one's I don't like.

Swedes = pig food. Disgusting things.
Chocos - horrid texture.
Jackfruit and that other thing that grows in Asia. The thing I can't remember the name of, but I will always remember the SMELL of. Yuck!
If avocados had a better texture, I might be tempted to eat more. But that raw-egg feeling gets me every time.

Apart from that, we eat a huge variety of fruit, vegetables and herbs. My kids actually complain if fully half their plates are not veg! And Lord help me if I don't have at least 8 to 10 types of fruit available at all times!
We don't eat any junk food of any kind - so I have to make sure there's carrot and celery to crunch on, and fruit for when they just feel like a nibble.
Of course, they also demand that there's a selection of cheeses to go with it all!

While I cook a lot of different vegetable dishes for the family, for myself I prefer my veges raw, so I usually have a bowl of sliced veg in iced water in the fridge for myself.

I'm the only man in the world who genuinely doesn't like the taste of meat. As in, I make a good vegitarian because I just never think to cook it. I also don't really have a favorite vegitable or fruit- I like food. But I like most food raw. Apples with caramel dip or that white apple butter stuff that looks and sticks like splooge- that shit's delicious. Throw some walnuts that you put in a bag and hit with a hammer in there and it's heaven.

Actually, that fruit dip shit is good on anything- cover berries with it, dip melon in it- do body shots, whatever. I fucking love carrots because of to much bugs bunny- I used to eat them greens and all when I was little doing the "What's up doc?" thing. I ate raw Spinach to, because of Pop-eye. I was a really stupid, impressionable kid. I allmost broke my back jumping off the porch trying to be tuxedo mask. Eating spinach raw is tame in comparison.

I'm a man who owns one of those juicers that you just put the whole thing in- skin, seeds and all. Because of that, I'm pretty sure I've drank a fair share of arsenic in my apple juice. And, you can juice pretty much anything in it, like potatoes and shit; doesn't have to be fruit. We put all kinds of shit in there. Yam juice is actually pretty good. Potato juice tastes like ass. And I don't understand that. I love potatoes. I love carrot juice to- and if you mix carrots and strawberries, you somehow get the most fucking delicious juice on the face of the planet. Put some rum in there and you're golden.

Damn, this is one of my favorite subjects. I could talk about food all day... I love to cook. Deserts are my specialty, so fruit's a great friend of mine; blueberries are my favorite to cook with. You know what- I'm going to stop talking because I'll just ramble.

Marinated artichoke hearts and green olives preserved in a salt water brine with no vinegar are going on my pizza tonight. Also spinach, zucchini, garlic, and purple onion. Some sun dried tomatoes and roasted red pepper will make it all come together as perfection on a thin crust with ranch sauce and a very small amount of cheese.

Damn! My mouth is watering now! :)

I lol'd

Love green beans and corn on the cob. Fav fruits are oranges and strawberries. Im a really simple man.

I can't eat my own green beans. I swear I can sit and string for days and the fucking things still have strings in them. That's like the only veggie I buy canned exclusively.
