Anyone wish to explain here what nation in history has existed or survived long by doing this?

What I do not see is someone suggesting we take 10-15K off of them. That sounds more like an emotional charge to illicit excitable cries of "unfair" from the people who care more about social justice than economic justice.

What I would suggest is that we do not treat citizens as part of static groups in a dynamic economy, but rather that we treat them as individuals with a LadyFairTax statue that shares a blindfold and scales in common with Lady Justice...

Saudi Arabians pay no taxes -- but that's because the government owns income-producing property, i.e., oilfields.

Yeah, gas is 7 cents a liter, but you live under a theocratic law set that makes it useless. Being in a gay relationship gets you killed, but all the chicks hate the beauty standard and dress like bee keepers. I just can't get behind it.

Not to mention the fabulous scenery of nothing and the oppressive heat....cool place to visit from a biologist/naturalist/historical perspective but other than that...fuck the middle east
