Okay, I am not sure if anyone else has posted regarding this.

I am toying with the idea of submitting a audio story, I would rather it be more than me masturbating.

So, I was curious - Any tips for an audio story, I know what I like, but I listen as a woman, any suggestion as someone whom would be aiming her stories at men?

Any tips would be welcome, either from people who already submit or those who listen.

Cheers!

Guys are usually visual.

It is more sexy when a woman is not trying too hard to be sexy.

Keep it real.

lol "trying too hard to be sexy" I can try and not be that, and from that I take I should perhaps have lots of descriptions, painting picture kind of stuff?

Many guys would like that.

The audio should be easy for a listener to picture.

I hope more tips are posted because I have been toying with this idea too. I guess I will subscribe to this thread. :cattail:

See for me, its the.. if I have it all written down, then, it sounds like I'm 'reading' but if I don't have it on hand then I might lose some of that detail because I'll be focused on other things.

Of course, I could just tell a fantasy I use to masturbate to... hmmm

Why not practice it in advance and think about it.

Then not need to have it on hand when you try it.

Then you will have the best of both worlds.

I have four audio submissions. All are of the more "submissive" nature. All tell a story with a climax. It isn't like some of the audios I've heard the men submit, short "blips" of cumming.

My stories are approx. 9-10 min. long. I have read, and recorded the stories myself.

What I recommend is writing the story first. Edit it just like you would if you were going to submit it. In my case I actually have submitted the entire story too, not just the opening paragraph that others have done. It's a personal choice I made.

After editing, you need to read the story out loud, several times to make sure you don't stumble over the words. Once you think you have it down, you can start recording.

You want to try and read through the work without making it obvious your reading from the written text you have in front of you. You're most likely going to be nervous, but it's okay - you have a stop, rewind, and record over button - utilize them.

Also if you plan on climaxing during your story, if at all possible, either make it sound real - or really bring yourself to orgasm.

I've listen to too many men "shoot from the hip" (pardon the pun) in recording audios. There are too many "umm" and "well I..." and "Hmmm" and sometimes too much silence.

Thanks for the advice Red, I've listen to stories like that too... where they stutter a bit because they're not sure how to go forward.

Anyway - I will take on what you've suggested here, I write stories now, so thats no problem, its just transferring that. Something to plot and plan until I'm ready.

'Shooting from the hip' ok

I prefer the extemporaneous audios. If a man starts reading, I stop listening. The pauses, silent periods, 'um's just make it sound more real to me.

Does anyone know if it is still possible to submit an audio anonymously? I'd like to submit, but am so shy, I don't even want it linked to my profile.

Audio story

I much prefer audio narration which can include the moaning and climax, but I really listen for the women's voice.

Have you listened to Selena Kitt's? Bluebeard's Wife or Unfolding?

I am often disappointed when I click on a Text Audio story and it shows 11 minutes, but it is all orgasm, or "you do this, and then you do this, and then..."; or worse, a great story, like some of yours I have read (wish they were longer), but there is "no" audio...not sure why they made it in that section.

Anyway, that's my vote, hoping to hear your voice, reading your stories soon!

I started submitting audio stories recently. My first story had a lot of helpful feedback letting me know that I had overdone the vocal effects. I also had several messages telling me what men like to hear in stories, which were almost like stories in themselves. Although they say 'I wish you would do xx and yy to me', these messages can be seen as letting you know what men would like to hear.

I haven't had so much feedback on the second story. Perhaps listeners are satisfied with it.

allegra99 - It's very easy to set up a profile, you could have a separate one for audio. I think this is a good idea because I notice people can become obsessed with a photo and perhaps a voice would also be likely to get someone hooked on you and wanting to track you down.

Audacity is a good free recording programme. Get an external mike rather than the one built into your computer. They are not expensive.

Best is to record and start posting, then you can get some feedback and develop your work.
