Are you put off by the General Board, even though you post regularly? Do you consider posting here a weakness? Is Literotica a personal/private interest, or something you share with people you know?

i've told people, but it doesn't really come up that often. why? because no one fucking cares.

LIT is like a public urinal: you may be offended by what you find but it doesnt stop you from doing your business.

I just wonder if Literotica is an extension of someone's life or an escape from it. I come here out of boredom, and I'm not particularly proud of that, but other people seem to be part of an actual community here where they potentially know each other in real life.

I don't hide my activity at Literotica from anyone. No one who knows me in the everyday world would be surprised by anything they me post on Lit. Most of the people here have good reasons to keep their face and location a secret. They live a life totally contrary to what they present on Lit.

I used to invite people to Lit, but I haven't done that for years.

Has the forum changed a lot since you started posting? I haven't been a member that long.

The only people who don't know about lit are my kids.
Everyone else knows, and some have joined as a result.
Most stay away from the meanies on the gb.

Well, I tend to be embarrassed because, though I like reading racy stories about healthy relationships, I have nothing to say about that sort of thing, personally. The only reason I started posting was because people were writing things they would not survive saying on a public bus. The second form of embarrassment comes from the realization that it's silly to respond to that sort of thing.

People go to restrooms for different reasons. GB is BRONZEAGEs whole social life.

We have a very open life, and I would say that a good third of our close friends have joined us at some point
Seems silly to be embarrassed about a website when they've seen me naked!

And you've never run into any problems? I would think everyone has a limit or people with whom they don't want to get involved. How do you draw the line, or do you even have to?

I'm lucky in that within our relationship, the choice is mine.

I seem to remember you making some very good well thought out and interesting responses to some of the stuff Amicus wrote and thinking to myself “I wish she posted more often.”

Woof!

Well, you seem pretty comfortable in your own skin. I admire that, provided you can just as readily accept someone who isn't. Some people are defined by their inhibitions.

Well, I tried, but I ran out of time. Now I have time and nothing to say! What happened to Amicus? I haven't seen him post anything lately.

People are people, I except them as I find them.

The bigger question is; are you happy defining yourself by your inhibitions?

Well you “tried” and posted some interesting stuff.

Sometimes you have to just shoot the shit until something that interests you comes along.

I dunno what happened to Amicus.

Woof!

Like attracts like.
Most of the people in my circle are very similar to me - as I'm sure most in your circle are probably similar to you.
I have no issue with inhibitions, but in saying that, by being here you are maybe not as inhibited as you think!

It used to be a lot more fun. One of the women would declare it post your bits night and in a few minutes there would be a dozen men and women, happy to comply. I can't imagine that happening, now.

My kids know about Lit, but they are all adults. The only one who had a problem was my daughter in law. She had some stories posted here and was shocked to discover she had married the son of Bronzeage.

When my back av was up, I got a pm from an old friend I'd lost touch with who recognised my tattoo!
Funny stuff.

And ditto re the good old days.
*sigh* everything changes, and sometimes not for the better!
