I will say it is very beautiful here and nice to have both the mountains and the beaches a short drive.

I have traveled through those states, not the same as living in them.

I moved from the Redneck Rivera to here, so for me to say it is backwards in SC is quite a statement.

I have lived in Fl, CA, MS, ME, SC--visited several other states and lived overseas in Europe.

I find SC to be backward and I live in the Upstate in a way more professional/higher income area than Panama City Beach, Fl.

It's just that here in SC, we like our 15 minutes to go on a little longer.
