Peyton Manning for MVP? Without Taking a Snap
The Manning family patriarch took time to credit Peyton for helping Eli achieve success in the NFL. Eli will play in his second NFC Championship Game on Sunday when the Giants travel to San Francisco to play the 49ers for a trip to the Super Bowl in Indianapolis.
“Peyton’s been a great mentor to Eli,” Manning said. “People think I am. But Peyton’s been Eli’s best mentor.”
