Knowing that Mitt will more than likely be the next POTUS.

How does that make everyone feel? Better? I think the American people want anyone except Obama at this point.

Really?

"The American people..."

Perhaps, "a majority of Americans who intend to vote in the November 2012 election presently tell pollsters that they would prefer a change..." and even that is unsure.

My ignore list gets longer and longer the more I hang out in the GB

This particular troll alt isn't from Australia - he's from Tennessee, and he literally has about 20 different active alts at any given time. He hails from Stormfront.org.

So, your ignore list is gonna be fat and happy pretty soon. ;)

So you think only one stormfront member belongs to literotica? Think again Francis.
We have over 8 million post on stormfront and i can assure you over 200 stormfront members are also members of this site.

That could be......but things happen. I read a local paper survey they took last week. Granted it wasn't scientific and doesn't portent to be accurate, but keep in mind in the last presidential election this county voted 61% for the republican candidate.
The poll ask if they had to vote for a candidate today, who would it be. The choices were Obama, Romney, Paul, Huntsman, Gingrich and undecided.

Obama had 42% of the poll, Romney had 18%, Paul 12%. The rest was divided among the last three choices. As I said they don't claim accuracy, it's not done scientifically. But it's a cause for thought. If Obama is doing so badly, why did it turn out the way it did. And I don't believe they sought out the liberals for the poll. Our paper and the owner there of has a history of being conservative and supporting conservative candidates.

Unless the GOP comes up with an acceptable candidate (which they do not have at the moment), one acceptable to the swing voters (you know, the centrists that AJ despises so much), it may turn out to be your worst nightmare.

Of course not. I've always assumed there's been a whole crew of you jobless racists over here ever since you made a thread looking for your sad Stromfront buddy clan back in 2006.

We have over 8 million post on stormfront and i can assure you over 200 stormfront members are also members of this site.

...and yet, after years and years and tens of thousands of posts, none of you have been able to drive me from this site. All you've accomplished is to become obsessed with me.

That's called an epic fail. :D

I, for one, will welcome our new Mormon overlords if Mittens somehow manages to purchase the election fair 'n square.

Your ego is bigger than your little penis...we make threads here and it drives you insane.. we do not chase you, you chase us.

We like it that way, keep making threads dedicated to us it gives us a chance to show off Stromfront.org.

The incumbent starts with a 100-mile head start in a 110-mile race. While the GOOPers are eating their own, Obama is running against Congress and scoring populist point after populist point--and he has yet to start pushing a campaign narrative, which, as incumbent, includes three years of being president that his eventual opponent won't have. As president, the cash runs ocean deep, and the line between public appearance as president and campaign appearance as candidate is sufficiently vague to allow lots of free hits that go unanswered.

Barring scandal, atrocious handling of an international incident, or a second recession, our current president will almost certainly be our next president too--and that's all true BEFORE considering the pool of potential GOOP candidates.

The only room I'll give this to wiggle is this: if a sufficiently left-leaning third-party candidate gets into the race, he may draw enough lefty protest-votes to skew the inevitable. But even then, I think most lefties would rather have a bad lefty like Obama than a good R, and would not, in the end, 'throw their vote away' on a third party. However, it would make for an interesting election...

Romney wont win the election, and I wont bet he wins the nomination. He's snake-bit.

Bain Capital is stuck to him, and he cant get rid of it. Bain is vampire capitalism at its worst. Romney comes in, sucks out the blood and plasma, and sells the carcass to China. Bye bye go the jobs.

I look for Jeb Bush to get the nomination once the GOP gets the idea Romney is DOA.

No. Romney doesnt appeal to conservatives, the independents swoon for him cuz he's nice. Us right-wingers are gonna stay home.

LOL - I can tell just by the way you write this desperate, delusional tripe that you don't really think you've accomplished shit. That's very gratifying.

Bingo.

Welcome back for another 4, Obama. :)

Has Jeb Bush given any indication on this one way or the other.

I agree with you as per Romney but am at a bit of a loss as where to look next.

It's way too late for anybody else to get in. And Jeb it will never be. We've had enough of that family, and it was Jeb who committed the civic crimes (the voter-roll purge, e.g.) that got his brother elected.

Naaah. The elites believe the conservatives will settle for Mitt, and that aint gonna happen.

If Mitt wins the primaries, then the conservatives have settled for Mitt, or at least could agree on nobody else. So there won't be anybody else, no third-party challengers, no serious Republican National Convention floor-challengers. It'll be all "The next President of the United States, Mitt Romney!" and nothing else. Plus a lot of staying-home-on-eday, I suppose, as you say. The modern nominating process is supposed to settle things before the convention anoints the candidate, and nobody likes watching it break down -- that's always a sign of crisis, and the party that has to have a floor-fight never wins the election. Remember the Dems in 1968, the Pubs in 1976.

Pride goes before destruction. Jeb is all the GOPs got. He's smarter then Dubya but not any better. Laura Bush hinted that Jeb might be available.

I think Romney aint gonna go the distance once people start voting for real.

Not so fast....... Take a look at all Obama's positives.

Labor unions
Food stamp peeps..... 44 million
Welfare peeps
prisoners
dead peeps
The homeless
The minorities

Then he has a couple of aces up his sleeve.

Helping peeps who are under water with their mortgages
and Finally, forgiving students for part of their student loans.

This could put him over the top..........

Romney isnt exactly winning any majority votes is he? So that looks like 2/3rds to 75% of Republicans dont like him. And when the field thins, as it will, their support aint going to Romney. You really think Pauls people or Newts people are gonna embrace Mitt?

Aside from minorities and peeps taking a dirt nap, I doubt many of the above have enough initiative to make it to the polls.
