I was wondering why you voted no and as usual your argument is logical.
because its not okay in an ethical sense. but it is fair game for the unethical.

That is to say, you can't be bothered with coming up with anything like a reason for tarring every road you take with liquefied hate.

Do you agree or disagree?
Do I think it it's wrong to post private info on Lit? Damn right I do, have you ever seen me do it? Why do I have I have to say anything about it? What difference does it make if I have anything to say about it, or not? Would it have any effect two fucking years later? Am I the Lit policeman, babysitter, keeper?
I am only responsible for what I post. It's not my job to fortify your battles with Miles or your moral imperatives, that's your job.
Happy now? No, I know you're not happy, because no matter what I say, it isn't going to be good enough for you, the obsessive compulsive Chey, the drunken Seanh, the former drug dealer Luke, the Master shit stirrer Rob, or his assistant Nipples. Oh, and forget about asking me to genuflect cuz it ain't gonna happen, and I'm definitely not going to kiss anybody's ass.
This is what I get for doing a vanity search on a boring Saturday night. LOL.
Pray tell, when did I do this? I'm too tired to go through all my posts from all those years ago.
Oh and kindly remind me of my new name, please, as I'm drawing a blank...
I may have the name wrong. I do not research, I simply posted from memory and I thought Incognito was the one who posted the chat logs. If wrong, I apologise.
Intrigued.
Yes, thank you.
And I apologise to Incognito for wrongly naming her as a shite stirrer.
Chat logs? That would be Indigo Rose aka December.
Ah yes....I remember it well.![]()
This is not a sacred place, folks.

Just so somewhere down the line a claim isn't made (using this thread) that vette didn't make his point.

No worries. At least you had me entertained for a bit.
This is shaping up as the most one-sided poll in Lit history.
Can't say as I'm surprised especially. The biggest surprise to me about it is JBJ offering to blow me. That was kind of a shock.
These days, I rarely click a link because someone told me you can track where that person is from when they click it.
Actually, someone PM'd and told me they knew my town because of the link I clicked.
I'm not sure that's possible without some sort of spyware, but I'm no techie.
It's possible.
Let's say I have access to the logs for domain xyz.com. I create a unique URL - xyz.com/someuniqueurl - and you click the link. Your IP address will show up in the site statistics (unless you're using a proxy, or TOR, etc.). It doesn't even have to be a real page - you may see nothing but 'page not found' - but if you click, I have your IP address.
Now I can look up your IP address, which will tell me your ISP and, usually, your town/city. (There are exceptions, AOL being the biggest one.)
Ditto emails. If you're using a computer-based email client (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.), your IP address is included in the email headers. (Lesson learned: if you're going to troll someone using email, do it from a web browser.)
And or course, the people maintaining this web site can probably see IP addresses associated with posts.
I'll be very candid here...I *am* shocked by the results.
I thought there'd be a LOT more of the AJ/Vetty "Miles is my friend, I must support him DERP DERP DERP" that those two have been tirelessly promoting the past 4 to 5 days.
I won't say I'm shocked by that. I think the Lit borg is actually a decent human being, by and large. I'll go as far as "pleasantly surprised."
