Do you prefer to keep your valuables in a safe or in the deposit box at the bank?

Yeah, but it's more of an unsafe since it no longer has a door.

I also don't have any valueables that I don't use.

There's a jar, in a hollowed out portion of the wall, in the shed.

Valuables? What are they? I have some valuable books but they get used. Anyone stealing them couldn't sell them because only the secondhand book trade could buy them, and I'd have circulated the loss within hours. Any local dealer wouldn't buy them without a provenance.

My important documents are kept by the family solicitors.

But... where do you keep the family jewels?

I do and I've a bank deposit box.

Still, I keep most valuables in plain sight.

I paid good money for them because I like them and I want to see them and the insurance policy is ample.

Win Win.

Step into my open parka.......

Now you are openingly courting disaster, it'll just melt the permafrost...

and where would we be then....

*grins*

I was feeling a bit... chilled.

I'm a member of AFGW (Alaskans for Global Warming). I'll just grab my Hawaiian shirt and shorts, and all will be well.
