I see similarities between the Obama and Carter Administrations, but which one is superior?

I can't decide and may just have to accept a zero sum outcome.

However, I'd love to see Obama make as good an ex-President as Jimmy has. He can start in mid-Janaury 2013 too.

I said the same thing with fewer words. :p

I can't see anyone who can run against him. Victory by default.

I don't know.

I suspect that the DNC's more than a bit concerned about a Romney/Christie combination. Of course, the evangelicals could fuck this up with the likes of forcing upon us a Rick Santorum as a running mate.

I feel much more confident about the Senate. That will almost assuredly swing Republican in November. Obama, thankfully, will be blocked on both sides of the Hill in a worse case scenario.

The election is still a long way off. I could give Romney the Presidential nomination but there does not seem to be a ticket that will unify the party or appeal to mainstream voters.

Obama also has the advantage of familiarity, people are used to him and know what they are going to get, He runs a powerful campaign as well.

As per Carter he reminds me of how respectful Americans are of past Presidents. In Canada past Prime Ministers just vanish as if they had never existed.

Romney has the only chance of attracting moderates and independents. We'll she how he polls tomorrow in NH where independents can vote in either side of the primary.

If he get's 40%, it would be the best thing that could happen to the Republicans.

I agree it's not the strongest field though, and wish Christie had opted to run himself.

I agree. Romnet seems to me to be the only "non disaster" candidate in the race,. A good show in NH would be wonderful for him and the party.

I just can't see the others attracting moderate/independent voters. It is as simple as that, I guess.

Romney wont get elected cuz he's Obama Lite. I said before that I expect Jeb Bush to be drafted.

Holly crap, are you serious? When you talk about superior, you mean taking the economy into the crapper, right?
The economy was in the crapper before Obama took office. Carter inherited a crappy economy, too.

Obama was sent here to destroy america, and that is what he has done!

Now time to get rid of the asshole.

Obama, because the collective meltdown around the GB makes me happy. I was going to vote McCain/Palin until "people" like Obama_Sucks and Cade supported them.

Sorry that you need an excuse to support horrible non-leaders (like Obama, Carter)

Ask yourself this, would Steve Jobs fire Obama...answer is YES!

So you admit you do not vote intelligently. :)
