In the past I've apologized to Busybody for posting personal information that he himself had already posted, and I thought it was okay because not only was it "out there", but it was put "out there" by the cretin himself. I wasn't trying to "reveal" anything -- I just used the info in the course of a regular thread conversation. But I apologized right away and removed my post, when it was pointed out that, no matter how innocently the information was received, it was still personal info, and I didn't really have the right (under Lit guidelines) to post any of it, even with no evil intentions. Busybody is a skidmark on the shorts of America, but I apologized to him (right before calling his mother a dog whore, or something brilliant like that). I apologized to mother-fucking Busybody. That's how strongly I feel about revealing personal info, no matter where it comes from, or how "out there" it already is. And as happy as I am that maybe Karen Kraft will leave Lit and now have more time on line for World of Warcraft I still feel odd about her/his/its personal info moving around the Boards. If we tolerate revealing the personal info for nimrods how can we complain if someone tries to do it to us?

That being said, I hope Karen's a fat dude with a wife who's finding out everything.

Yeah, I'm not crazy about anybody's personal information all over the GB, however, I'm less crazy about somebody using a young woman's images without her knowledge on here.

Nobody knows the exact details, but the evidence is pretty damning.

I cleared all that up on the thread. Never spoke to her. Only assumed she was actually a woman because she so often was at a coffee shop where I could have met her a dozen times.

The pictures that disappeared yesterday showed "Karen" as a 64-year-old tub of lard with a receding hairline and a very prominent beer gut, which makes "karen's" hundreds, if not thousands, of posts where "she" mocked other people's weight especially ironic.

I understand where you are coming from with regard to personal information being posted here. I have had miles and "Karen" posting my children's pictures, my pictures, my relatives' pictures, even my Amazon book reviews over the past two years. I've asked Laurel to delete over a dozen alts that contained variations on my name or my childrens' names. You can't type my last name here on Lit anymore, Laurel has a ******* filter on it, just like she did for "Karen"'s family.

I personally won't post "Karen"'s picture but I have to admit that I do get a certain amount of smug enjoyment of "Karen" now being subjected to a taste of "her" own medicine.
