Pussyg's New Kitty House

Does anyone else find these few days between Christmas and New Year a bit odd? Some people are back to work as 'normal', some are off for the duration, the sale season makes for heaving towns and car parks, and it's impossible to get anything really don.

I would really love to be able to just hibernate with the leftovers and a bottle of something nice, but unfortunately the kids have once again eaten us out of house and home!! Lol

And of course, there are all the obligatory 'look back at the last year' type programmes. I have to be honest i did enjoy the Royal wedding the first time around, but i'm not sure how many times i can cope with the highlights and reruns!!!
 
lol yeah I think the time between these holidays are the valley to the peaks....lol...it's quite dull in between the excitement and build up of it all I think...tv is dead...most parties are just before Christmas or on New Year's eve....the kids are all over the opening presents and doing their own things....lol tv sucks at this time too...

Isn't it funny how things seem to happen in patterns sometimes. i seem to be in a New York state of mind today! i keep hearing New York songs on the radio - and low and behold my new packet of coffee is apparently a New York blend! Hah! Point me to 42nd Street!!! lol

Dear god - was it just me or was that a stupidly long week, for a short one?

I am so tired, and so ready for the weekend!!! lol
 
my week was just a blur...don't know where the time went...sorry your's was a pain...short weeks are usually like that...go figure
