I'm not defending the republicans. I'm just saying if the dems actually stood behind what thy preach they would have to take the same hit to the wallet as every other elected official. That's fair right? That's the price of equality. But the reality is 99% of everyone on capital hill is in bed with each other and their respective business partners (the root of the problems we have) and the only pay hit any of them will take is when the people call them on their bullshit and fire every one of those shit bags.
