so what are peoples thought on lower back tattoos? do people still enjoy seeing them or are they really a pass fad?

my wife got one back in 2003. some guys really love it and others not so much. I guess it really is a matter of taste still.

Ink can be very sexy. All depends on your interests and the artist. I think tramp stamps can be very sexy. Makes me want to start kissing the lower back and work my way down as I peal down the jeans, skirt, or panties as I go!

I'm not the biggest ink fan personal, but dont get me wrong, some look absolutely amazing, its just my personal preferance is natural skin, but with that said the right tattoo on the lower back has sometimes goten me very interested ;)

I have a naked angel on my lower back. I find her sexy, so it doesn't really matter to me what other people think. However, when people see or ask to see my tat they always seem to enjoy it.
Just the other day I had an elderly man ask to see it. He told me he found them quite sexy and that mine was particularly so.

can we see it?

Like them

I like them as long as they are not too large. They can be very sexy.

Personally, I find all tattoos to be a turn-off. I don't look down on those that have them, but to be honest, I just don't get it.

ive always wanted a tattoo
but i havent been able to find one I thought
would look good on me when Im 80 :p

i think if in poor taste they are very tacky... but my tattoo idea for when i get it is kanji symbols on my hips on the right hip it will say embrace and the left will say darkness so that when you are doing me you embrace my darkness it references a lot about my mental views of my sexuality.

that sounds very cool Hera :)

When I was younger, my father gave me some rare parental input. We saw some chick with a tramp stamp, and Dad embarrassingly quipped, "Grace, you might as well just tattoo 'enter here' and have an arrow pointing at your ass." That has scarred me for life, so I have no ink. I have a piercing or two, but no tats.

lol again, part of me agree's with your father, part of me doesnt

i think it more comes down to the type of tattoo on the lower back. some look good and accentuate, some just look horrible.

it also depends on the back and woman

there's a lot that needs to come together to pull it off, but when it happens you'll get a "daaaaaaaaayum" outta me

thats a great daddy there! mine taught me that all pussy is pink inside... very much different from yours I grew up very badly. But yes tramp stamps are hideous in most part... its like target practice in which i was given a mouth just perfectly for... plus its a further shot and takes good aim, :) I had the piercings but no tats as of yet.

As weird as it sounds, I'm halfway in between....

I love ink when its well done, artistic and not cliched. So a unique and well done tramp stamp is awesome. Another Celtic knot, rose (on fire, in ice, black rose, purple rose, thorny rose, Celtic knot rose....) or the person's name, not sexy... There's a running joke in our BDSM club about why a certain submissive has her name stamped at the base of her spine; she's not known for being excessively choosy or discreet and tends to pick her Dom of the Day by the same standards. She needed to remind the DotD who's name he's supposed to call out when he comes.

Note that I'm not calling her out for being a slut. But there's a difference between being an ethical slut with good intentions and the kind of slut who inspires the barrier sex rule at your local bdsm club as well as earning the Dramma Llama award at the last board meeting.

Anyway, if you're gonna get inked, find a great artist and get something truly unique.

Not my thing at all, but I have relatives in the business, so I've seen some really good stuff and some questionable stuff. Body art is relative - and very personal. For some it is a religious taboo, for others it is part of your social identity.

Still, my choice for me is no. For you? Your decision. If you're a young woman, know that many folks think it, like a woman who smokes, is an advertisement for easy virtue. And you'll get to deal with that.

All in all they are very sexy..........I have seen some poorly done work that wasn't sexy but most are in my opinion. I love ink though........its not for everybody but I love it. :)

My own tattoos are a collection of half-finished "stuff" now so I can't really criticise (started then just before I started a family and discretionary spending kinda dried up, but since the children a young adults now at uni, maybe time to develop my original ideas more?) ... but I'm not a great fan of any tattoos that are "cliched". Same as certain predictable lower-back ones on women, many guy's tribal shoulder/upper arms ones now look same-old. Especially here in NZ, the most tattooed population on earth apparently. But I saw a really well-done one in the gym recently, very intricate and unique... that was an one of the exceptions.

In general, I can get really turned on by very skillfully designed tattoos on a woman and have more than once googled for images of them. One example I saw recently that stuck in my mind was on a Japanese woman, a very finely etched cherry blossom tree down her torso with roots that were woven into her pubic mound.. the whole thing looked three-dimensional and was simply very clever artwork. Can be a big turn-on for me.

After reading half the posts here I admit I'm almost afraid to put up a pic of my tat.

The reason I have her is because I saw the picture and thought "She is a representation of woman"

The horns are her darker side, the wings her light side, and the nudity represents the natural beauty of a woman. I love that she has large child bearing hips. It makes her seem more real to me.

Yes, this is really my way of thinking.

So as promised... here she is.

thats a nice tat, i don't see the problem with it

I have a few tatts and my wife has a few, I have always loved them and always will. I will probably get more, not sure if my wife will, and yes, one of hers is a 'tramp stamp'. Look, I completely get if someone doesn't like any tattoo, or tattoos in general. But I do get annoyed by people who complain that tattoos or a particular type of tattoo are too popular, or how they used to be cooler when 'they' got them but now too many people have them.

The point surely is to do what you want and have your own thoughts. If you wanted to get a tattoo or particular type of tattoo and now regret it because everyone has one, surely that is no better than someone who only gets one to try to look like everyone else. Either way, you are allowing other people to dictate how you see yourself. I love 'tramp stamps' because I think they are fucking hot, like most tattoos on women. I don't think having the tattoo makes the person unique or a really independent person. Just as many cool people don't have tattoos as have them.

I got my tattoos because I loved them then and I do now. Even if I wouldn't necessarily get the exact same ones again now, they are a part of who I have been. I'm not cool because I have tattoos. I'm just cool because I'm cool! :)

Tattoos are forever unless you get them surgically removed and the end result is often a worse mess. A friend's wife had a large dragon that covered both of her [used to be perfect] ass that she got while drunk and decided to get it removed and the end result looked like she had gotten her ass burned and it was scar tissue.
But a small discrete tat in a 'private' place can be cute.
It is sad to [IMHO] see beautiful young skin defaced by ink that will eventually fade and look old and cheap in a few years.

I have nothing against tattoos and I do like certain ones on certain women. But since i HATE needles, I'm 99% sure I'm not getting one. That said, I just dont understand the "tramp stamp". Seems like a lot of girls, now women, got them in bunches to make themselves "cool"? The part that makes me scratch my head is that they can't see it! That's a lot of pain and money to spend for something you can't really see.
