Lit clicks

Still pretty new here but I am enjoying the dynamics of the different forums within this message board.
It's interesting seeing the difference in the kind of people who post mostly in, say, the 'Role Play' forums vs. Those who post mostly in 'Am. Pics/darkroom'. The GB seems to have it's own group which I don't think venture much, that place is rough.
The 'How To' people seem so patient and and the 'Fetish/sexuality' people are a whole different animal.
Don't get me started on you BDSM folk with your proper grammar *wink*

When I get a PM from someone I often will check which board they mostly post in, and it usually helps me see where the conversation will go.
I tend to pop around but find myself only checking the same couple forums lately.

I think it would be cool if there was a feature within your profile that showed % of posts per forum, or "posts mostly in _____"

Meh maybe I'm too easily amused.

There are a lot of improvements I'd like to see on Lit, starting with a redesign. Additional emoticons'd be nice, too. I like the idea of an expanded profile that shows a more graphic representation of one's posting history, as you're describing.

I'd also like to see a bar chart of a cartoon dick, to indicate an average level of general dickishness in posts.

I'd love to see any of the improvements available with new vBulletin software. But geez, the latest version here is from 2007? Cheap, cheap, cheap.

I belong to several other forums that utilize the same software from vBulletin and the improvements over this one are unbelievable. Wish we had any of them...and a lot less lag.

I too am of the damned mindset that I saw "clit licks" in the subject line too. Why did God make me such a devout pussy eater?

I tend to see the same names too in certain forum areas. I've had some discussions with some very intelligent and perceptive people, but unfortunately there are also the other types too. Like the OP, I enjoy learning about other people's interests, experiences, preferences, and fetishes although I sometimes wonder how much of it is true and how much is made up. I also wonder sometimes how many "women" are really men with fake identities. Still, it's all good.

When I first found the Lit forums, I posted almost exclusively in the Playground. I met a number of people there and it appealed to my need for being social. After a few months I started posting in How To and eventually that forum became my regular Lit home, which lasted for two or three years as I recall. I was one of those patient folk you mentioned, Loverskitten. The BDSM forum began to attract me about six years ago. Except for a brief period where I was also posting in the Author's Hangout, this forum continues to be my home away from home.

I guess I'm a serial forum lover.

I generally look at the new posts and respond to whatever interests me. I don't participate in the do "this" or do "that" to the person above or below you threads. I guess I'm not much of a flirt. I'm really interested in expanding my (our) horizons in the bedroom.
