Slut as a lifestyle.

The book "The Happy Hooker" comes to mind here, that was a awesome book that probably has a lot to me be the horny shit that I am, seems when I found it in my Dad's dresser when I stayed home from school I read it almost from front to back in one day even with the several jack off breaks! She was a HOT slut, prostitue, whore or what ever else label you can add to it BUT DAMN SHE WAS great in my eye's.

Did it ever cost you a dinner or a box of chocolates?

Have I fucked a woman after taking her to dinner? Sure. Was there any type of agreement in place that she would fuck me for that dinner, no.

Hang on...it is possible I'm still a whore. He does buy the popcorn when we go to the movies.

Are you fucking him because he bought you the popcorn? Would you not fuck him if he didn't. If you answered yes to either of those questions then you're not just a whore, you're a cheap whore. :D

You're both. You're primarily a waitress but you're also a dog walker although I think that was a poor analogy.

And yes, I would consider expensive gifts or any other kind of compensation the same as money.

So do you define yourself by every paid job you've done? Must be cumbersome...

And why is it a poor analogy? Please clarify.

I'm not personally invested in it at all. If you're taking money (or gifts) for sex, then you're a whore. Whether or not you choose to call them whores or second-handers is besides the point.

Sluts fuck for fun, whores fuck for money.

Pretty black & white... so what if you fuck for neither fun or money, then what's your label?

I think that it is perhaps the name that grates? I dislike the term whore myself, but fucking for advancement or because you had a nice meal bought for you doesn't make you a sex worker. I think the only people who really use the term 'whore' are guys who like to objectify like that and women who get off on being objectified.

Also, happy 2012 :)

Happy 2012, doll!

I've fucked for both. But I have never fucked when I didn't want to.

Currently, I only fuck for fun.

Labels are fun!

Plastering you against a window with people walking past, fucking you from behind with your tits heaving against the glass when you really don't want it would be fun for me I am not going to lie.

When I depart I'll toss you a coupon for Burger King. I'm a big spender like that.

Whore. :D

I'd fuck him even if we didn't go to see a movie in the first place. He has a beautiful cock and I want to lick his skin off.

Burger King? Gross!

LOL, I guess it didn't matter what I wrote there.

For the record, I have no problem with a woman who has sex for money or a guy that pays for it.

I know. It seems easy to label the woman and forget about the others involved.

but there is often the implicit understanding that after you have forked out for a date, you get laid in return. You just have to see all the men moaning about it when it doesn't go that way. Which is why I won't let a man buy me food. or at least only if I actually intend fucking him.

No, I don't define myself by my job at all. Red is the one who labeled herself a whore. I was just disagreeing with the label she used.

It's a poor analogy because someone is working two different jobs. Many people do that. If you're going to define someone by their job, it would be what they do the most of. But that doesn't mean they're also not a dog walker.

I have no idea what to call someone who fdoesn't fuck fun or money? Do you?

No, there isn't an implicit understanding. There may be a hope or even a misplaced expectation but an understanding implies that both sides agree to it.

And under the right circumstances, I'd do it again. It was a good situation while it lasted, it was mutually beneficial, there were no hurt feelings involved at the end. I can't say the same about ending the relationship with TMWFM. It was very, very painful....and no cash ever exchanged hands.

And again, I wasn't judging you. You're an adult and free to do whatever you want for whatever reasons you want.

I was merely disagreeing with your choice of term (slut) that you used in the thread title to describe what you were doing.

Oh. Oh well. Slut, whore, prostitute, call-girl, grape soda, matters not to me.

Your indifference to any terms used to describe your actions is duly noted.

As is my belief that words have actual meanings.

It just seems to be sorta like splitting hairs...but yeah, I mean if it's really important to you, then yes. I was a "whore", and now, I'm just a "slut".

But the thing is, there is more to me than that. I'm a sales person, I'm a mother, I'm a friend, I'm a musician, I'm a sister, I'm creative and caring and try to be empathetic and treat others with kindness.

I think just tossing a label of "whore" or "slut" onto a woman diminishes all the other qualities she possesses. I, and all woman, are more than what we do with our vaginas.
