Klippert, you have it backwards-- he can't claim the version of "family values" that he does, and also be gay-- and not be a hypocrite-- , because the kind of family values" that he endorses are specifically and emphatically anti gay. That's what "family values" means -- to the right wing.
"Family values" means loving and caring for your family to the rest of us. But when republicans like Greg Davis say "family values" they mean that same sex marriage defiles the Sacred institution yadda-yadda, that women should not have autonomy over their own bodies, that feminism is a bad thing. That's what "family values" means to Greg Davis, and yes-- if he is a closeted gay man campaigning against gay men? Damn right, hes a hypocrite and an enemy of progressive folk everywhere.

Now why didn't this guy just take out a cash advance or cash out of his own pocket and buy gerbal tube or whatever else it was he wanted to buy? Was this worth 67$? Elliot Spitzer was a hypocrite because he was persecuting hobbyists for pay-for-play sex with escorts. But at least he used his own money$.
