Nobody is wearing white to that wedding. Google was always a step above the rest with the lack of popups and adds on the search page. That all went out the window with Gmail.

I strongly suspect AT&T and/or their affiliates/partners have something to do with those type adds. It also is related to what region is covered by your service provider (AT&T again on this, because they are split geographically into regions in the US).

Every time I log in to an old email account of mine that originated in Texas, I sometimes tap into a different server in that region. It depends upon the LAN as well if the ads are close, but not precise.
