Beautiful. Your piercings looks GREAT.
The first 24 hours after I got mine (right after Thanksgiving) were pretty rough. But since then I've been doing well.
My nipples are really sensitive too, so I worried, but I do like some pretty rough play so I thought it would work out. And it has... now when they get hard bc of the cold weather they hurt a bit, but in a wonderful way. (that's very distracting so maybe not the best thing : )
If anyone's considering it, I highly recommend it. Just take the advice of the piercer (it better be someone you trust!) on what shape piercing will work best for the size and shape of your nipple/breast and all of the cleaning directions.
I haven't had anyone suck on mine yet... but tugging feels so, so delightful. And sliding the bar around...
Oh, I'm very glad I made the decision to get them (after years of thinking I'd hate them).
Though a note on the pain - I realized that gravity can make the piercings hurt (I think this may primarily be true for us larger busted gals) hence wearing a bra a lot more often than I used to. I'm hoping that will eventually pass : )
Looking forward to really pretty nipple rings in the future. For now, I'll just enjoy my tiny nipples and little bars : )
(I'm recycling the attached photos from my thread, sorry, will take a couple of new ones especially for this thread soon!)

Yeah - my piercer told me barbells are better for large ladies also bc of something relating to rejection... (how they get pulled by a bra/clothing etc on a larger breasted woman).
Mine are actually curved a it too (he bent them with pliers) bc he thought that'd be best - but you can't even tell looking at them - just when you run a finger along them.
I wonder if there's consensus on what works best for whom...

If your piercer told you to touch them, you need to find a piercer that's not a moron. Hot compresses and saline washes (once a day for each) is all the aftercare you should ever do for just about any piercing. Flipping them around will a) put you at higher risk for rejection and infection and b) increase healing time and make them cranky little flesh holes.
As for the barbel vs curved barbel debate...barbels tend to be better in terms of allowing for versatility later, but there's no real problem with them from what I understand.

That's what I mean. Aftercare shouldn't include spinning or rotating the jewelry. If you've got crusties, use a cotton swab to carefully remove it. Just hate for something to happen to such lovely piercings because of bad advice from a piercer. I've had piercers tell me to rotate jewelry too, but since I stopped doing that, all of my piercings (15) have been much happier.

Titanium makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE! when I got mine done like 10 years ago with steel, I nearly passed out from the pain during healing, sooooo much pain. Your body tries to heal onto the steel but not titanium. I had to have them re-done about a year ago, those suckers close up fast.
I can not stress the difference the titanium makes... Seriously! No pain with titanium, ahhh

I found short barbells the best since there is less chance of catching. And I have to agree with BambooDanio, don't play with them until they're completely healed.
It's taken years of trial and error and only recently have I been able to take them out for a few days in a row without having a hard time getting them back in.

It all depends on how fast they heal. Dont rush into playing with them. You may be tempted but you will pay for it. Id say give it at least a month. It varies from person to person though. Just give it time and be gentle with them till they are totally healed.
