Everyone knows both the Roling Stones and Dylan's rolling stone song were inspired by the magazine that began publishing under that name in 1967.

His earlier post about it in this thread also implied it was a valid theory that the Rolling Stones just happened to 'deny,' not that it was impossible, wrong, and dumb.

I had to google-fu the 33, but I discovered it was NOT the prohibition thing, which everyone says it is.

I was pretty young, probably too young, when I first saw that movie. I have this image frozen in my head of nickles being fired slow motion out of a shotgun. Peckinpah could really put an edge on a story.
