The snow was very light here, and so most is only on the grass, not on the roads. I won't be shopping until Friday the 23rd because of finances and even then I don't know what if any I can do.

My daughter asked last night if we were going to have Christmas - I said yes, but it may be in Jan. or Feb., but I would leave the tree up. She thought that was cool - though if I have it up in Feb., I may decorate it with Valentines.

How are you coming along with shopping, cards, and all that fun stuff?

Yes, this is the first year that I can honestly say I am going in stress free. That is the way the season is supposed to be. We will focus on Christ and family, and for the blessings we had this year and will have next year. If we're able to do some holiday shopping, great - if not, that's okay too.

Do you know, I don't think you're the only one behind on cards. Usually we have several, so far as of today - we have received three.

I've got cards that came in the mail from the ASPCA that I could use, and I have some stamps too, but I have to same my stamps, so cards won't be going out this year. Next year things will be easier - the spouse got a new job, and I was able to work payment arrangements on our State taxes through our Sheriff's Department - funny how much easier it was to afford payments with them after a tax warrant was issued, where through the state I couldn't afford to pay via their payment plan because they want it paid in 2 years and that wasn't possible.

I don't understand why this happens.
Things happen to people that's unforeseeable , etc. How hard would it had been to let you make an arrangement ? Gets my goat on some things!
