Home. The first time I have felt like this is home in weeks. Most of the depression is gone. Most of the worry is faded. Not all of it, but enough that I can get back to "Faking it til I make it..." and really that is all anyone can ask for.

I turn on the lights inside my haven and yell for Gray fang. We need to go running~ in the woods. It has been entirely too long since I have felt like doing that much of anything. In the real world, here, anywhere. With a loud, shrill whistle I call for my wolf companion. I hear him, bounding through the deep woods, yipping, whining. Once he reaches the porch? I step outside and lean in, fingers in the ruff of fur at his neck.

A few good morning scratches and we are off, into the green.

~The Dreamer walks through the familiar woods, her hood up, hands in her pockets. The exhaustion is evident in her strides, on her face, but she continues on. She finds the wolven haven and climbs the steps, sitting in the porch swing. She pulls her notebook out of her backpack and starts on a post that is long over due.~

The darkness hides my walk through the woods. It hides my ascent to the porch. Hides my light and my wolf.

Feet lead me to the door and a slight wave of small fingers opens it. Lights come on. I step inside. Door...closes.

*slips up to the porch, and sets a sexy vulf statuette on it*

If it can hide her than it can hide me too. I've always had an affinity for the dark.

I move quietly and the shadows hide me well, but I bet she knows I'm here anyway. She always does.

Head comes up. Sensitive nose catches a scent. Him? The door flies open and I barrel into him, small hands moving to encircle his waist.

Hello! How are you?

"I'm doing pretty well. Life is busy, but isn't it always? I've finally gotten to the meat of my training and I'm loving it. I'm nowhere near the end, but I can't wait to do the job."

I return the embrace and kiss her. Its a bit abrupt, but I wanted to feel her lips. As sweet a feeling as ever.

His voice is soothing. And my smile widens as I hear the underlying excitement concerning his training. I had opened my mouth to say something...but his mouth stopped the words. I didn't mind. Fingers trailed up...and ended up caressing his neck.

Softness meets hardness and sweetness. Shared sweetness. Up on tip toe, pressing close. Until the kiss ends on it's own.

Good to see you.

Throat is cleared as the voice is so husky...
