web based writing motivators

DAMN you, that's just more distraction. I am totally in love with the minnow mermaid

(go throw a hundred words into the writtenKitten site and see what you get )

She's nice, too. :)

I'm getting a jump on the holiday etsy shopping, and I have to say, I'm running across too many things for me and not enough for everyone else on my list.

I just used written kitten to write part of a cover letter. :) Kittens and buzz words make for a great combination. Next up: kittens and dissertation, and then the kittens and I will take over the world! bwa-ha-ha.

Nothing? Not even this?

;)

OMG! I love it. I'm not sure it is going to motivate me to write because I'm part way through three different stories and am concentrating on building a chair and learning to tie fishing flies but it sure is a cool thing to have. Wouldn't it be great mounted on the wall of the shower? I wonder if he could motorize one . . .

In fact, that's another plot bunny all in itself!

Dearie, dearie me . . .

I tried out the kitten one- because who doesn't like kittens?- and the first picture that damn thing generated was a little unnerving. The kitten was scowling. I thought it was going to leap off the screen and bite my hand. In one respect, I suppose that makes the program a success: I was certainly compelled to write more, quickly, just to get that thing off of my screen :D
