I have been working on a story involving one male and two female characters. I have about 6 chapters written and been stuck for a long time. The male character is mostly deaf. the 2nd female character won't be introduced til chapter 4. I need some fresh eyes on the story.

It sounds to me like writer's block. You might well get more help on "Story Ideas".

If you are writing long fiction and become stuck, it sometimes helps to go back and examine character actions. If you forced a character in a direction he shouldn't have gone, sometimes the narrative winds up against a brick wall.
