What do you like to RP? I read your profile about being a DnD old school gamer. Me too, although my favorite game is Arcanum, similar to DnD.

You know, as big a nerd as I was when I grew up, it's amazing that I never played DnD at all. Someone needs to teach me how to create a DnD type character sometime. I figure it would be fun to try and do a story like that, sometime.

Well, almost anything might be fun, except Modern day RP.. I live in the present, I would like to escape that for a bit.

Fantasy is awesome, hence why I love me some Dungeons and Dragons. But play Pathfinder with my friends, it's like D&D 3.5.7.. yea..

Science fiction and Super Heroes are cool to, a writer called Texanjoe [ http://texanjoe.blogspot.com ] has been writing something I REALLY enjoy, Hero being seduced by Villain an they both like it..

My Fantasy Character, a halfling named "Cheska" .. imagine that!? who has a secret Submissive side.
Most the RP I have tried to be part of, I have used her as a vehicle to play and explore.
My biggest problem, people see "Submissive" and assume "Person who drops to knees to serve at the drop of a lash."

No, in my own way, I am a really bad sub, or so I have been told.. because I want my devotion to be earned, not just taken.
I have read far too many stories where the Sub just rolls over or too many where someone discovers "I'm a Sub! OhgoshOhgollyOhgee!" and rolls over...DULL! cliche Trope.. ok, I still read them because they give me warm fuzzies.

But I do not want to just play that, I want to explore and for it to be earned.. and perhaps, even fail.. I think that is one problem, most people can't deal with the idea that my character just simply doesn't just give in an might even reject them.

[Also a story idea: Woman put through BDSM session, Dom assumes she will fold an love him/her.. instead.. Woman gets free and beats the snot out of Dom]

so yea.. there I am.. an wow, I just wrote a bunch of things.

Edit: And this shows just how bad I am at writing.

Actually I get you on the BDSM trope shite. I hate it when someone just rolls over and takes to being beaten without a by your leave. How is that fun for the Top? How is that earned? What the fuck did I do to deserve that??
