I agree

That's kind of cool. I didn't know people did that anymore.

Ah, there's a whole fetish just for corset wearing and sometimes very, very, VERY heavy waist training. I've heard of 16'' waists and not too long ago. I never did it as a fetish, I just liked the way it looked and felt. It didn't turn me on per se. But, there are kinks we don't even dream about out there.

Oh I like corsets on a lady... wish they were more common hehe. Didn't know there was training.... yeah... I don't get out much.

No, you're not wrong. It's what you want/like. Wants and likes are seldom "wrong". They just... are. If you want more curvature, I'd suggest some light waist training using a corset but, then again, I am very partial to those amazing, heavy, stunning and very fun wardrobe pieces.

I wouldn't bother if I were you, but I'm not. :)

I agree with your statement - wants and likes are seldom "wrong". Every person is unique and I think so are their wants and likes - just because we might not share them doesn't make them wrong. People need to learn to be more accepting and less judgmental.

Back lacing is far more effective for waist training in my opinion. They are very hard to lace all by yourself but it can be done. I do it alone but I don't waist train anymore. Underbust corsets are also waaaaay easier to lace.

I recently bought my first corset - it is laced up the back but zips up the front. The woman at the shop laced it for me. I am a big girl so we had a struggle to get the waist and bust to work properly - but even zippering it alone is a challenge - it requires three hands. Although I did manage to get it zipped with some fancy maneuvering. I cannot believe how beautiful I felt wearing it, even though my curves are less than 'perfect'...

I am interested in adding to my collection and do love your avatar. Although as said 'big girl', I doubt I could make it look as stunning as you do.

I don't know about that. I think you would.

You know, some photo skills and lying down do wonders for a girl's figure. Trust me.

All of the 4 corsets I own have clasps on the front. I prefer to loosen the laces on the back just enough so I can close the clasps comfortably, close said clasps and then pretend I'm Scarlet O'Hara and just suck my tummy in and pull the hell out of those strings. With a little practice, it becomes easier. If you want to wear the corset for longer periods of time, you want all the little extra you may have around your midsection to be pushed to your back. It's more comfortable and you don't get marks when you take your corset out. Also, if you have your corset made to measure (insanely expensive but I hear totally worth it) or if you buy something made with plus size ladies in mind, it's easier (I hope Santa brings me this one). Our body has different proportions than the rest of the girls, so our clothes and unmentionables need to be designed, cut and sewn differently.

Oh, I LOVE this corset!!! I am a plus size girl for sure - and the sizes of corsets and other unmentionables seem to run small so that has to be taken into consideration.

I went to a shop with my fella and the woman was very knowledgeable and very helpful - and it was a pleasure to be made to feel beautiful and acceptable at my size without the need to be embarrassed or ashamed for wanting something so beautiful and sensual.

Yes, it's great to have sales ladies who actually know what they're doing. I get furious when I go shopping for bras and they try to convince me I need a 44B instead of a 38E just because they can't be bothered to go look for what I asked.

This lovely shop in Richmond - Kiss"N"MakeUp - was wonderful. All of my adult life, I thought I was a 42C - turns out I am a 42DD, who knew! LOL But this woman knew by looking at me and took the time to help me find just the right items. I would definitely go back, simply because of the time she invested in me and listened to what we were looking for.

One thing I have to say is that Pervy's BBW thread (and the others I've seen here) have done wonders for my self-esteem. Not to mention a man who seems to find me attractive just the way I am.

Now - I just need to see about ordering that wonderful corset you posted the photo of...

My newest corset is a back lacing, but closed front, which means that the only way into it is with it completely unlaced and wrapping it around your body. I've found that I really, really need another person to help me into it because I can't hold it on me and tie at the same time, tried it the other day and could only get about 3/4 of it done up. It was extremely frustrating and my arms hurt like crazy afterwards. I was probably just doing it wrong, but I'd prefer to have some nice, strong stud help me.

Any takers?
:D

I had a best friend in high school whose mother owned (and still owns) a lingerie shop. While I was too embarrassed of going there to buy something too sexy (not that my mother would matter, I just didn't want to expose that part of my personality to others - I was 15), she helped me determine my size and how to know if a bra fitted right or not. If I know a thing or two about good lingerie, I owe it to her.

Yes, BBW's threads and men who love us are two of the very best things in the whole world!

*raising hand* Me! Me! :D

(a guy can dream right?)

Oooh redhead, I likey !

What a lucky guy.
I don't know, they both look kinda lucky to me. :D

You're too kind, gorgeous! I really only want a different shape, more curvature, I think that would make me more attractive to men. Am I wrong in feeling or thinking that?

While you are not wrong, please don't think that you are not already attractive! Nothing wrong with some special wardrobe items, though.

Psst don't look around, I think you have some groupies here ;)

If you are thinking "Did she just call me groupie?" Yes I did, groupie :D

I am no one's groupie!

Fan, maybe. Supporter, heck yeah.

But groupie? I say thee nay!! ;-)

HA!! Groupies Rock!! But seriously I just think she is beautiful and if she needs any judgement calls on the corsets I am here for her. And a helping hand with her putting them on.... or off :)
