Now, merc, if you want to cut down on the number of filibusters, then make them go back to actually talking each other to death...

Whatever.
Not too many Presidents have been this low looking to be reelected.
That's not the stuff of fantasy.

That's not what they are saying; they're blaming the hostility of their party and their inability to raise funds.
I still have to think that We, The People, are more concerned with what Obama is doing than what the Republicans are doing. I mean, he got elected on the back of Bush, the big debt guy and then he tripled the debt on his watch. Now you're bitching because those big-spending Republicans won't let him continue to run up the credit cards...
Do you have ANY solid principles? I know you hate mine, but I'm hard-pressed to find any principle other than I'm against whatever the Republicans are for.
Instead, the GOP has engaged in more of the same old Party of No.
As Uncle Herman would say, apples to oranges...
The DNC is not controlled by the Blue Dogs and is not raising locally for them.
And I'm damn proud of that. If the question is "Should we raise taxes by 20% to pay for the profligate spending of Obama and the democrats in shifting public money to their campaign supporters (like Solyndra) and keep it at that elevated new "normal" level forever?.......
Then my answer is "NO!" I support the party of NO to new taxes to pay for democrat cronyism which will result in more unemployment and further decline of our economy.
"NO" is the correct answer to that question.
What concerns the American people is usually time sensitive.
What nerve do you possibly think you have hit?
What does Atheism have to do with my moral underpinning? It is based on the classic Liberal enlightenment, Life, Liberty and Property.
You have professed not to believe in property rights. You believe some people deserve to have their property taken from them and given to others based on the "to each according to his needs and from each according to his ability." You believe in legalized theft and you consider it moral and it causes you to say some crazy things as we have witnessed this morning.
I think he was astounded by the audacity of the lies told, especially by "tax lawyer" Michelle Bachman.
I think he should start a new political party....let the pool boys of the world unite! They can donate all their money to Obama so he can use it to give UAW members $100,000/yr retirement packages.
Which lies would those be?
That Cain's 9% business tax would be a VAT? His own advisers say the same thing..
Analysis commissioned by his own campaign, which he urged everyone to read, takes a somewhat different view.
"Each business would pay tax on gross receipts less payments to other businesses," it explains. "Allowing the subtraction of payments for intermediate goods yields the value added by the company. Subtracting investment as well yields a subtraction method value-added tax (emphasis added)."
Still pushing that old lie Out2Lunch?
I suppose being completely misinformed is kind of your thing huh?
I think he should start a new political party. They can donate all their money to Obama so he can use it to give UAW members $100,000/yr retirement packages when they retire at what....45? 50?..
But somehow I believe he thinks that you and I ought to pay for his welfare..new TV...new car....comfortable and worry-free retirement....etc.
It's a weakness I have to pick on you because you're so quick to pick on others. What can I say, I'm not perfect. I should refrain, but it's like trying to break a cigarette habit, I can't help but to pick on bullies.
Yes. She purposely conflated retail and wholesale. Either that or she is actually stupid.
I suppose the analysis commissioned by Cain's own campaign was confused or stupid.. Or don't know what a subtraction method VAT is..
-OR-
Cain doesn't have a clue. Obviously, Cain has managed to avoid contact with the most basic facts about his own tax plan. He describes it in terms that even his own advisers reject.
Personally I'm beginning to to wonder if he knows the difference between a thin-crust pie and the box it came in.
I keep hearing thsi high pitched whine chanting "Jen'dumbasastump'inFlorida was here.."
But she was banned for spamming and created how many alts?![]()
Meanwhile, back in the USSA...
...the country formerely known as the greatest nation the earth has ever known:
9. Belarus
8. Rwanda
7. Georgia
6. Macedonia
5. Hong Kong
4. Singapore
3. Canada, Australia, and New Zealand
Do I? Link or lie...
And if I did...
can i just say, i love that after being away for months its amusing as hell to see this p.o.s. thread still going on, and obama's staunch defenders working so hard to be condescending and superior
the whole point of this thread is the economy, and it's *still* completely in the shitter. obama himself even said if things aren't better after he's been in office for 3 years he should be canned.
