So, I take it once we take the essences of Ashley and Melevan apart the body on the table will quickly deteriorate and die, hence the two new cloned bodies. What should we do about the extra Magnus conundrum? Of course, she will live and I will take her on but she can't live for very long. It would be too weird. How will Tesla ever live this down? And, will it be the end of deBlythe?

Because, Lisa, you will have your hands quite full with both Ashley and Melaven separately, I think you needn't keep deBlythe too unless you trade him for Melaven. Unless, the new Melaven gets into some sort of struggle with the cloned Helen at some point and they die together?

We should brainstorm, guys.

Let this run. You'll see de Blythe is very well intentioned but completely mad. I expect Helen will reject his designs however well intentioned and he will disappear but not be killed off.

But what if Melaven has designs on living in the Helen clone? How about an evil Helen Magnus and no one knows who is who. That leaves the Cabal Ashley without an essence unless Tesla wants her as a guinea pig?

If they are needed the "Soul worms" can deal with any problem essence... Like Melevan or can tweak their idea to devour into De Blythe and say just put him in a coma if need be...

Since the Helen body can't be destroyed why not lock it away for the time being, maybe have a an accident where someone is forced to be put into a new body, either that or 'try' to destroy it it comes back later on in a very simple minded nature 'at' first a 'wild primitive naked immortal Magnus running around the mansion or escaping into the street

or then again could fall back on typical clone problems degradation of the base genetic code because there are always slight flaws when you make a copy missing parts, say the immune system fails or some connection in the brain isn't firing right(causing untold number of neurological fun stuff maybe insanity or creating sociopathic tendancies)

and if you're wondering why I'm not more involved well cause y'all kinda missed the part where the half sober Druitt showed up and asked a question

New character I would happily fill for a while...we have an extra Helen body but only Melaven, Ashley, and Helen's spirit to fill four bodies, right?

The ghost of a 4'11, overweight, low self esteem woman who used to drive a school bus for a living, had four cats, lived alone and was a huuuuuuge science fiction geek. Her favorite hobby was studying paranormal and strange. She believed in aliens, lochness monster, big foot, faeries, and most of the other things typical humans consider to be only legend but Magnus and the Sanctuary team know for a fact exist and are simply Abnormals. Jenny died in an accident after dropping off her last student home one day. A drunk driver ploughed right into her bus, head on. She died instantly and her death was so sudden and unexpected she's been kind of ''lost'' for two years. The light she finally saw and thought was the light to the afterlife, when she followed it it was simply the spark of life of Helen Magnus's soulless clone. Jenny ends up thrilled to have a second chance at life and a body which, even stuck around mid forties is still healthier and prettier than Jenny's ever was and she died young (31 years old). Jenny would be an enthusiastic new addition to the Sanctuary team, glad to find everything she's always dreamt was true really is and psyched to have such a great body to discover these things in. Her new confidence with men will be kind of fun to write as well. I can see her slowly becoming quite the flirt once it really sinks in that she no longer is trapped in a short, chubby body anymore.
