If I'm stuck, how do i find an editor?
I am maybe 85 percent done on a story. Its premise is good. The setting is good. I just am not quite sure how to end it.
And it is my first (potential) submission.
Any ideas?

Dig deep

I would rely on myself. To tell you the truth, I have contacted three editors from here that I thought, based on their bio's, could help me with my stories. I have never had one of them contact me back.
I would say, dig deep into yourself. I don't know what category your story is in. If you look for an editor you have to let them know that, but I would give it some more thought before seeking the advice of strangers.

I wonder if this isn't something that couldn't be tossed out over at Story Feedback or Story Discussion. Maybe they could help you brainstorm.

The official volunteer editors list poorly maintained and out of date. The Available Editors thread at the top of the page is a much better place to find an active editor.
